Oman recorded one death after a projectile struck the Marshall Islands–flagged product tanker MKD VYOM off the coast of Muscat. The United Arab Emirates, including Dubai, has seen four fatalities, as per its defense ministry.
Syria and Iraq Also Affected by the Conflict
In Syria, four people were killed when an Iranian missile hit a building in the southern city of Sweida on February 28, according to the state news agency SANA. Iraq has reported at least 15 deaths, with police and health officials detailing the losses.
Notably, a commander from the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella group of Iran-backed armed factions, was killed in an airstrike on his vehicle on March 5, as confirmed by police sources to Reuters.
