TOWIE Cast Brings Essex Glamour to Vietnam for Series 37 Filming

The iconic ITV2 reality series The Only Way Is Essex has transported its signature glamour to the sun-drenched shores of Vietnam, where filming for the upcoming Series 37 is currently underway. The cast was spotted arriving at the luxurious JW Marriott Cam Ranh Bay Resort on Thursday, dressed in eye-catching string bikinis and glitzy sarongs for a vibrant beachside party scene.

Stunning Beachwear on Display

Dani Imbert made a striking entrance at the waterfront location, showcasing her figure in a sparkling two-piece ensemble. Her outfit featured a rope-inspired bikini top paired with a matching embellished skirt, complemented by long, beachy waves of hair as she posed for cameras. She was soon joined by Elma Pazar, who wore a similar shimmering cover-up jacket over a blue bikini, accessorised with a large blue and gold necklace.

Meanwhile, Jodie Wells highlighted her tattoos in a gold swimwear look, pulling her hair back to draw attention to her sequin-encrusted bikini. Courtney Green wowed in a cream cover-up outfit, consisting of a long-sleeved top and a floor-length skirt that offered glimpses of her bikini underneath. Ella-Rae Wise added drama to the sandy setting by modelling an all-pink look, complete with a flowing sarong, a pink mini bag, and a pair of towering heels.

Male Cast Members Join the Fun

The boys of TOWIE also participated in the all-cast party, pairing their swimming trunks with stylish linen shirts as they smiled for the cameras. Brothers Josh and Jonnie Gurie, along with Josh Francis, certainly turned heads as they headed to the pool and stripped off their shirts, adding to the energetic atmosphere of the filming session.

Cast Changes and Absences Stir Drama

Earlier this month, three new TOWIE stars were revealed, including hunky twins expected to cause a stir in special episodes filmed in Vietnam. However, the trip has not been without its controversies. Last month, the cast jetted off to Southeast Asia for the brand-new series, but two legendary stars, Amy Childs and Lauren Goodger, opted out of the Vietnam filming.

A source close to the production explained, 'Lauren Goodger and Amy Childs won’t be flying out to Vietnam to join the rest of the cast in this series. Despite hopes that they’d join later, they’ve decided to skip the trip altogether. They’re letting the younger cast take the lead this series when it comes to the abroad trip.' Instead, Lauren and Amy will film scenes from Essex, providing updates on their lives while the rest of the cast is overseas.

In addition, last month saw reports that two more fan favourites have left the show. Roman Hackett announced his permanent departure to focus on his career, and Love Island's Sammy Root, who joined in 2024, will not return for the upcoming season. A source noted, 'Sammy wants to explore new opportunities, and producers felt his storyline had run its course, but the door is always open for him to come back.' Sammy's relationship with Elma Pazar, which played out on screen after their time on Love Island: All Stars, ended earlier this year, adding to the behind-the-scenes drama.

Looking Ahead

With filming in full swing at the five-star resort, Series 37 promises to deliver the usual mix of glamour, romance, and conflict that fans have come to expect from TOWIE. The beachside party scenes are set to highlight the cast's beach bodies and fashionable ensembles, while the cast changes and absences are likely to fuel ongoing storylines. The Only Way Is Essex is scheduled to return to ITV2 and ITVX later this year, offering viewers a fresh dose of Essex escapades with an international twist.
