Actress Rosalind Halstead, known for her role as Isabella in the 2009 ITV adaptation of Wuthering Heights, could face up to six months in prison after admitting drink driving. The 41-year-old was arrested near her home in Haringey, North London, while driving her 2003 Jaguar X-Type without valid insurance.
At Highbury Magistrates' Court, Halstead pleaded guilty to both charges of drink driving and driving without insurance. She was handed an interim driving disqualification by the presiding magistrate and is due to be sentenced next month.
Halstead's career includes roles in Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004), Mrs Henderson Presents (2005), and the BBC series Sherlock, Holby City, and Love Soup. More recently, she appeared in six episodes of the Star Wars spin-off Andor as Runai Sculdun.
Her early career began at age eight at the North London Performing Arts Centre, and she later worked as a model before turning to acting full-time. She has also appeared in stage productions with the National Youth Theatre and at the Edinburgh Festival.
