Make-up artist Lisa Armstrong has finally severed all ties with her ex-husband Ant McPartlin after selling the former marital home. The five-bedroom west London property, which had been on the market for over two years, has been sold subject to contracts for £3.2 million, a lower offer than its initial £4 million listing price.
The house, bought by Armstrong and McPartlin for £2.3 million in 2006, was described as the “last link” to her ex-husband. A source said Armstrong was “delighted that the last remnants of her marriage have been finally put to bed.” The property had been rented out after their divorce but suffered a fire in September 2023, causing over £1 million in damages.
The sale comes after the death of Armstrong’s dog Hurley, another link to McPartlin. The 12-year-old dog had been at the centre of a custody battle during the divorce, and his death ended any contact between the former couple. Friends said Armstrong was “beyond heartbroken” over the loss.
Armstrong divorced McPartlin in January 2018, two months before he crashed into two cars while over the drink-drive limit. He was fined £86,000 and banned from driving for 20 months. McPartlin, 50, is now married to his former assistant Anne-Marie Corbett, 46, and they have a son, Wilder, born in May 2024.
Since the divorce, Armstrong has built an impressive property portfolio, reportedly receiving a £31 million settlement. She bought a house near Oxford for over £700,000 in 2024 and another £3.8 million home in west London in 2020.
