Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas has issued a stark warning to Europe, declaring that Russia under Vladimir Putin remains a significant threat to regional stability. Speaking to international media, Kallas emphasised that Moscow's aggressive tactics, including cyber warfare and disinformation campaigns, require a united response from NATO and EU allies.

Kallas, a vocal critic of the Kremlin, stressed that Putin's regime has not abandoned its expansionist ambitions despite setbacks in Ukraine. "The threat hasn't disappeared—it has merely evolved," she stated, pointing to Russia's increasing military cooperation with rogue states and attempts to sow division in Western democracies.
Baltic States on the Frontline
As leader of one of NATO's most vulnerable members, Kallas highlighted Estonia's efforts to bolster its defences, including increasing military spending and expanding conscription. "We cannot afford complacency," she warned, urging other European nations to follow suit.
The Estonian PM also called for sustained support to Ukraine, arguing that a Russian victory would embolden Putin to target other neighbouring countries. "This is not just about Ukraine—it's about the future of European security," she asserted.
