Reality television star Jack Osbourne has welcomed a baby daughter with his wife Aree Gearhart, choosing to name the newborn after his late rock icon father, Ozzy Osbourne. The Black Sabbath frontman, known as The Prince of Darkness, passed away in July 2025 at the age of 76 from acute myocardian infarction, having been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease six years earlier.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, Jack Osbourne shared the news with a poignant post. He wrote, "Introducing Ozzy Matilda Osbourne," alongside a black-and-white photograph of his daughter and a card that read 'Hello world'. The TV personality, best known for appearing in the reality show The Osbournes with his famous family, confirmed that the baby was born on 5 March 2026.
This marks the couple's second child together, following their three-year-old daughter Maple. Jack Osbourne is also father to three children from his first marriage to entrepreneur Lisa Stelly. The pregnancy was announced in December 2025, shortly after Osbourne's stint on ITV's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, where he finished in sixth place.

The Prince of Darkness died on 22 July 2025, just 17 days after his final Black Sabbath concert in Birmingham. While on I'm a Celebrity, Jack opened up about his father's death, telling campmates that despite Ozzy's ill health, the loss was still a shock. "I mean, we knew he was sick for a while, but it was definitely a shock. We didn't know it would be that quick," he said, adding, "It was the ultimate mic drop, he did a massive big gig and was like, 'Alright I'm done.'"
