Jeremy Clarkson was visibly emotional as his Hawkstone Farmers Choir was crowned the winner of Britain's Got Talent 2026. The choir, formed initially for a beer advert, secured the £250,000 prize and a slot at the Royal Variety Performance after receiving over one million viewer votes.
The former Top Gear host, 66, jumped from his seat and embraced the choir members as the result was announced. The group, which received a golden buzzer in their audition, is the first choir to win the competition. They have used their platform to raise awareness of mental health issues in the farming community.
Choir member Katryna Shell dedicated the win to farmers and those struggling, saying: 'This is for all the farmers out there, for anybody that’s struggling – it’s not a taboo subject; if you’re not OK, speak up.'
The final featured acts including a dog act, a fire-juggler, and drone performers. Anastasiia and Salsa came third, while Celestial placed second. However, some viewers criticised the final as the 'worst ever' on social media, with ratings dropping to a low of 3 million viewers.
The series also saw controversy over judge KSI's past comments and a rule change by hosts Ant and Dec during an audition. The win follows magician Harry Moulding's victory in 2025.
