Vogue Williams Champions Health and Strength in the Jungle

Mother-of-three Vogue Williams, the 40-year-old late arrival to the I'm A Celebrity camp, has quickly become a valued member, recently capturing attention with her moment in the famous jungle shower during Wednesday night's episode. The television personality, known for her commitment to fitness, confidently slipped into a red bikini, showcasing her gym-honed physique.

Vogue has consistently emphasised that her focus is on health and strength rather than size, actively promoting a positive and healthy lifestyle. This philosophy led her to directly address fans who had sent her messages claiming she was 'too skinny'.

Standing Firm Against Body Shamers

In a powerful response, Williams revealed her specific health metrics to demonstrate she falls within a healthy range. "I'm 64kgs and 5'11," she stated. "That is 4kgs lighter than I used to sit before I had Theodore. I can't explain why but that's where my weight comfortably sits."

She elaborated on her routine, explaining, "I train four times a week and try to eat healthily 80% of the time." Expressing her frustration, she made a direct plea: "Please don't send messages about my weight anymore!" This firm stance highlights her desire to shift the conversation towards overall wellness rather than arbitrary numbers on a scale.

A Peek at Vogue's Pre-Jungle Diet

While she is currently subsisting on the camp's meagre rations of rice and beans—and was visibly delighted to receive cheese and crackers on Wednesday's show—Vogue had been transparent about her typical diet before entering the jungle. Prior to her camp stint, she shared a 'day in pictures' on her Instagram Stories, revealing a balanced approach to nutrition that includes indulgent treats.

Her day would typically begin with a bowl of porridge made with milk and water, topped with berries and honey. She humorously added, "Two marshmallows because I saw them in the fridge and couldn't help myself!" Following a tennis session, she would refuel with yogurt, a pear, and more tea, noting the marshmallows would make a recurring appearance until they were gone.

Her meals also included lean protein, such as a piece of chicken from her husband Spencer Matthews, but she also openly enjoyed sweet snacks like chocolate and Haribo sweets, proving her 80/20 approach to healthy eating.

Maintaining a Regime in the Jungle

True to her word, Vogue has not let the jungle environment disrupt her fitness routine. On Sunday's episode, she was seen putting her fellow celebrities through their paces with a morning workout session. Showcasing her toned abs, she led campmates including Tom Read Wilson, Eddie Kadi, and a game Ruby Wax through a series of exercises.

As she performed squats, bent over rows, and lunges, she explained her motivation: "I had it in my head I wanted to do a little bits of training whilst I'm here because it's great for the metabolism so the rice and beans won't clog you up as much." She even instructed Ruby Wax on glute bridges, quipping, "Let's hump for 30… it's so good for your bum."

Vogue's journey in the jungle is proving to be more than just a reality TV experience; it's a platform from which she continues to advocate for a strong, healthy, and balanced approach to life.
