Marla Maples, once known primarily as Donald Trump's mistress turned second wife, has reinvented herself as a significant player in the Make America Healthy Again movement. The former model now spends considerable time focused on chemtrails and environmental health concerns, positioning herself at the intersection of wellness advocacy and political influence.
Building Political Bridges
Maples revealed during an August event in the Hamptons for her burgeoning Global Wellness Forum that she attempted to connect her ex-husband Donald Trump with her longtime friend Robert F. Kennedy Jr nearly a decade ago. "I've known Bobby for so many years, I put he and Donald Trump together in 2016 with hopes then they would be working together," Maples told attendees while looking ethereal with feathered hair and a plunging gold maxi-dress.
According to video footage obtained by the Daily Mail, Maples added that "there were a lot of forces at work that kind of prevented that from happening" at the time. Her persistence eventually paid off when, following the assassination attempt on Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, Kennedy reached out to Maples seeking to contact the former president.
"He reached out and he says, 'I need to get a message to the president,' and he says, 'can you do that?' I said, 'of course I can,'" Maples recalled in an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. This connection ultimately led to Kennedy flying to Milwaukee during the Republican National Convention to discuss an endorsement with Trump.
From Environmentalism to Conspiracy Theories
Maples originally met RFK Jr through environmental advocacy work, with one source noting she had photos of "Tiffany strapped to her back, like cleaning up the river with him." However, her interests have expanded to include more controversial topics during the COVID-19 pandemic, when she shared one of Kennedy's posts featuring Bill Gates that pushed conspiracy theories about vaccine microchips.
This trajectory led Maples to launch the Global Wellness Forum in June of this year alongside vaccine skeptics Sayer Ji and Dr Edward Group. At her Hamptons event, Maples articulated her concerns about "what's coming down from the clouds, from cloud seeding" and "how it's affecting our bodies, how it's affecting our blood."
She reminisced about her Georgia childhood, asking the crowd: "We never thought twice about seeing a sky that was filled with huge chemical trails across it, right?" The chemtrail conspiracy theory—which suggests condensation from airplanes contains dangerous chemicals—has gained traction through MAHA movement advocacy.
Political Impact and Legislative Wins
The movement's influence is now being felt in state legislatures. In May, Florida's Republican Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill banning geo-engineering and weather modification, prohibiting the release of substances into the atmosphere. Maples, who moved to Florida in 2021, celebrated this MAHA-friendly legislation.
"So far we've helped move to end geo-engineering in the state of Florida and we have about 35 other states that we are following now," Maples updated the Hamptons crowd. "So we're getting close, we're taking this model and moving it to other states."
Maples has also publicly supported the national version of this legislation, Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene's Clear Skies Act. Catalina Lauf, a Republican Florida congressional candidate who met Maples at Mar-a-Lago, noted that chemtrail concerns "come up a ton" in Republican circles, particularly within the MAHA movement.
According to Lauf, "People are finally asking questions. Even with the vaccine stuff." The MAHA movement has successfully placed issues like child food safety on the political radar, with Lauf praising Maples for addressing "toxic ingredients being in children's food and formula in the media."
One MAHA observer told the Daily Mail that Maples is known to be "very big into conspiracies," noting that her advocacy represents characteristics from both MAGA and MAHA worlds. "These are people who don't trust the government, they don't trust the media and they don't trust science," the insider explained.
Maples remains a frequent guest at Mar-a-Lago, attending the club's New Year's Eve celebrations and other events, maintaining her connection to Trump world while championing her health and wellness causes that blend environmental concerns with conspiracy theories and political activism.
