A Playful Take on Pharmacy Staples

Following the remarkable sell-out success of her previous collaborations with Uniqlo and the cult status of her sustainable Universal Bags, Hindmarch is turning her creative eye to one of Britain's most cherished institutions. From January 10th until March 8th, a unique concept store will open within the Anya Village on Pont Street in London. This pop-up is dedicated to celebrating Boots' rich heritage and will house an exclusive, limited-edition range.

The collection focuses on transforming mundane bathroom cabinet items into objects of joy. Priced accessibly between £5 and £10, the line includes lip balm, toothpaste, and hand cream, each adorned with Hindmarch's trademark playful touch—think googly eyes that make these everyday products irresistibly cheerful.

Archive-Inspired Designs and Iconic Brand Reimaginings

The collaboration extends far beyond basic toiletries. For collectors and style-savvy shoppers, Hindmarch has designed two limited-edition wash bags. Named 'First Aid' and 'Meds', these chic accessories draw direct inspiration from antique pieces found in the Boots company archive.

Furthermore, Hindmarch has applied her unique 'Anya-ising' process to several classic household healthcare brands. Familiar names like Berocca, Advil, Band-Aid, Imperial Leather, and Nurofen receive a playful redesign, turning trusted staples into unexpectedly fun items. The designer expressed her excitement, stating: 'Boots is part of the very fabric of the UK. The chance to play with, and "Anya-ise" everyday toiletry essentials has been the most fun project.'

Availability and a Special Edition Universal Bag

True to her sustainable ethos, Hindmarch is also introducing a new version of her beloved Universal Bag as part of the launch. This iteration comes in Boots' classic blue-and-white colour scheme and features a retro-inspired interior lining that nods respectfully to the brand's pharmacy past. Like the original, it is made from 100% recycled and fully recyclable materials.

Once the Pont Street concept store concludes its run on March 8th, the essentials collection will become available online at boots.com for a limited period. The large Universal Bag in the Boots palette will be sold in select Boots stores and online, subject to stock levels.
