Bryan Johnson: Oral Sex Is 'Late Night Snacking' and 'Longevity Therapy'

Tech billionaire and self-described “biohacker” Bryan Johnson has gone viral again after joking that oral sex is basically “late-night snacking”. The remark came in response to a post on X (formerly Twitter) by user “Mateo”, who wrote: “Eating p—- not for her pleasure, but for an ample serving of Lactobacilli bacteria to improve my gut health”. Johnson replied with a one-liner: “When late night snacking becomes a longevity therapy.”

Intimate update and microbiome boast

The exchange fits Johnson’s brand of documenting his extreme anti-ageing routine to millions. He had already caused a stir with an earlier, startlingly intimate update: “Just gave Kate oral sex. Goodnight everyone.” Minutes later, he shared what appeared to be his partner’s official vaginal microbiome test results, boasting she scored “100/100” and had a vagina in the “top 1% of the world”. He said her microbiome was 98.7% dominated by Lactobacillus crispatus, a bacterium commonly linked with a healthy vaginal environment.

Strict food timing and medical caution

Johnson has also infamously shared his strict food timing, reportedly refusing to eat anything after around 4pm or 5pm to optimise sleep and longevity. As a result, people joked that oral sex was his loophole for after-hours “snacking”. Medics have since urged caution. While the vaginal microbiome can be crucial for reproductive health, doctors note that swallowing Lactobacilli via oral sex is not a recognised, efficient way to “improve” a man’s gut microbiome. Moreover, it is not a proven longevity treatment.

Sleep and appearance

This comes after Johnson recently warned that “poor sleep” makes people uglier. Writing on X, he said: “Sleep makes you look better. Poor sleep makes you less attractive. The science on this is robust.” Johnson’s love of sleep is well-documented. Every day the tech entrepreneur attempts to get to sleep by 8.30pm, then sleeps blissfully – alone – until 5am, when he awakes to commence his formalised panic about death once again.
