Strictly Stars Hit Blackpool: Arcades, Chips & Romance Revealed
Strictly Stars Enjoy Blackpool Rehearsals & Romance

The Strictly Come Dancing cast have descended upon Blackpool for the highly anticipated ballroom special, with celebrities and professional dancers alike soaking up the iconic seaside atmosphere between rehearsals.

Blackpool Fun Between Rehearsals

George Clarke and his professional partner Alexis Warr were spotted enjoying some classic arcade entertainment while wearing matching 'I love Blackpool' T-shirts, showing they're fully embracing the local spirit. The 25-year-old podcast star appeared in high spirits despite the intense rehearsal schedule ahead of Saturday's special episode.

Meanwhile, other couples found different ways to experience the famous resort. Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin opted for sightseeing aboard an open-top bus tour, taking in Blackpool's landmarks from above. Not to be outdone, judges Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke tried their hand at virtual games on the famous pier.

For Lewis Cope and Katya Jones, the Blackpool experience wouldn't be complete without sampling the local cuisine, as they enjoyed a traditional tray of fish and chips during their break from dance practice.

Romance Confirmed for Strictly Star

The Blackpool outing comes fresh from George Clarke making his relationship official with lingerie model Yasmin Amelia. The couple walked the red carpet together at the TikTok awards earlier this month, marking their first public appearance as a couple.

The influencer looked smitten as he kissed his girlfriend at the awards ceremony held at Magazine London in North Greenwich. Nominated for Creator of the Year, for which he was highly commended, George didn't hesitate to introduce Yasmin to his friends and colleagues.

Yasmin Amelia, who boasts nearly 40,000 Instagram followers and is signed to J'adore Models agency, wore a striking white lace off-the-shoulder gown to the event, while George sported a pinstripe navy suit and white shirt.

Family Connections and Career Background

While many know George Clarke for his digital presence, his showbiz roots run deeper than his online personality. His father is Sean Clarke, the managing director of Aardman Animations - the legendary British studio behind Wallace and Gromit.

Sean Clarke started at the company in 1998 and worked his way up, co-producing Early Man and both Shaun The Sheep movies before being announced as the new boss of the entire operation in 2019. Interestingly, Sean has previously admitted that his son's YouTube success actually inspired him to make changes at the animation studio.

George, who was born and raised in the UK, began creating video content as a teenager and has since built a thriving digital career with millions of followers across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. He also co-hosts The Useless Hotline Podcast, which has proven so popular it led to a series of live shows across the UK.

As the Strictly competition intensifies, George acknowledged the challenges ahead, telling reporters: 'It's getting a lot tougher but I feel like I know what I am doing a lot more now.' With Blackpool's famous tower ballroom awaiting and romance blossoming off the dancefloor, this year's Strictly continues to deliver drama both on and off the dancefloor.
