ITV has announced a festive film line-up featuring over 400 movies, promoted through a series of adverts where its biggest stars play charades. The 30 different 20-second spots, titled 'Guess What’s On This Christmas', showcase celebrities attempting to guess film titles such as Love Actually, The Batman, and It’s a Wonderful Life.
Among the participants are Ant & Dec, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan, Kelly Rowland, Sir Tom Jones, and Will.i.am. Also featured are Coronation Street’s Cath Tyldesley and Joe Duttine, This Morning’s Ben Shephard, Cat Deeley, and Alison Hammond, as well as Loose Women’s Judi Love and Charlene White. Britain’s Got Talent judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and KSI join the fun, alongside Maya Jama, Dermot O’Leary, Emma Willis, Joel Dommett, AJ Odudu, and Will Best.
In one advert, Will.i.am correctly guesses 'Mrs Doubtfire', prompting cheers, while Declan Donnelly quips, “I don’t know if I can follow that…” The adverts aim to highlight the extensive library available on ITV and ITVX, including premieres of Red One and The Batman, as well as family favourites like Jurassic World: Dominion, The Grinch, and Ghostbusters. Classics such as It’s a Wonderful Life, Indiana Jones, Shrek, and Top Gun are also on offer.
The campaign launches on Monday 1st December during I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! and will run throughout December and into January.
