Fans of the hit BBC comedy Ghosts have reason to celebrate as the beloved series is returning in a new feature film format. The announcement comes two years after the show concluded with a highly successful Christmas special that captivated millions of viewers.

The film, titled Ghosts: The Possession of Button House, will bring back most of the original ensemble cast. This includes Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard, and Ben Willbond, who also serve as writers for the project. The creators initially believed the series had reached its natural conclusion when Alison and Mike, the married couple at the heart of the story, sold their inherited haunted house and moved away with their newborn child. However, a compelling new story idea sparked their enthusiasm for one final adventure.
