Celebrity Race Across The World: Princess and Junior struggle

Celebrity Race Across The World is back for a new episode, and trouble appears to be in store. Four pairings have left Kuching in Sarawak and will head through five checkpoints on their bid to reach Melbourne, Australia. After a dramatic start, most of the pairings are at the first checkpoint of Pangkalan Bun, but one duo have yet to arrive.

A Star Threatens to Quit

The new episode brings fresh drama as one famous face has had enough and threatens to quit. Taking part this year are siblings Princess and Junior Andre, Jeff Stelling and son Matt, Ella Eyre and her childhood friend Nana, and Sam Ryder with his tour manager and best friend.

Last Week's Start

The four pairings gathered in Kuching, Sarawak (Borneo, Malaysia) to start the race. They were tasked with finding a vantage point to collect their maps and things they needed for the race. Sam and Kaz picked up their kit first, followed by Ella and Nana, with Jeff and Matt third, and Princess and Junior eventually finding the location.

Their mission was to reach the first checkpoint at Pangkalan Bun, but it was not smooth sailing for Princess and Junior, who were last seen 230km away from the checkpoint on a bus.

The Race Ahead

The race got underway last week with the four pairings setting off from Borneo. During their travels, the group will head through South East Asia to their final destination of Melbourne, Australia. Without credit cards, phones and home comforts, the contestants face a race of a lifetime.
