Netflix to Remove Major Titles Including Dexter in April 2026

Netflix is set to remove a large selection of movies and TV shows in April 2026, including the popular series Dexter. The streaming service regularly cycles its content due to licensing agreements, but UK subscribers may not receive advance notice of removals.

Unlike in the US, where Netflix announces upcoming removals, UK users are often unaware when titles disappear from their watchlists. Dexter, an American drama about a serial killer who works as a forensic technician, will be removed on Tuesday, 31 March 2026. All eight seasons were added two years ago but are now being taken down due to the expiration of licensing rights.

The Independent has compiled a full list of every movie and TV show being removed from Netflix in April 2026. Among the titles is Demetri Martin: Demetri Deconstructed, a Netflix Original available in both the UK and US.
