Harry Styles on 'Unforgettable' Meltdown Festival

Harry Styles said 'music brings people together' as he reflected on his 'unforgettable' festival at London's Southbank Centre. The 32-year-old singer curated the 2026 Meltdown festival at the venue, where he performed an intimate orchestral show with the Jules Buckley Orchestra.

Record-Breaking Residency

The fundraising event took place in the middle of Styles' record-breaking residency at London's Wembley Stadium, where he is set to play 12 nights. This run is poised to beat Coldplay's record of 10 performances at the venue last year and surpass Taylor Swift's record for the most concerts by a solo artist at Wembley during a single run (eight shows in 2024).

Styles' Statement

Styles said: 'This year's Meltdown festival has been an incredibly special experience I'll never forget. I'm so grateful to every artist who was part of the line-up for sharing their talent, generosity and creativity, and I'm incredibly thankful to the Southbank Centre for welcoming me into a space that has long been a home to unforgettable cultural experiences. Music brings people together and that has been at the heart of these past 11 days. Thank you to everyone who performed, everyone behind the scenes, and everyone who came along and made it truly unforgettable.'

Curated Line-Up

The festival line-up, curated by Styles, included performances from indie band Warpaint, Belgian electroclash band Soulwax, and British singer-songwriter Nilufer Yanya. Styles follows artists such as Little Simz, David Bowie, and Patti Smith in curating the festival.

Styles will perform his final show at Wembley on July 4, completing his record-breaking 12-night stint.
