Hosts Ant and Dec delivered a dramatic twist on Thursday's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, announcing a surprise double elimination is imminent. The shock news came just moments after music legend Martin Kemp became the sixth campmate to be voted out of the jungle.
Jungle Exit and a Bridge Reunion
Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp, 64, was sent packing during the latest live show. After 20 days in camp, he made the iconic walk across the bridge to be reunited with his wife of 40 years, singer Shirlie, who had flown to Australia to support him.
Speaking to Ant and Dec, Martin admitted: 'I have dreamt about this moment.' He reflected on his time in the jungle, stating it was a 'weird trip' but one where he cherished making new friends. 'I'm not one for making new friends and this is the first time I've done it in years and I absolutely loved it,' he said.
He also touched on his son Roman's third-place finish in the 2019 series, joking he was 'glad' he didn't beat his placement.
Double Trouble Looms for Final Six
In a major plot twist, the Geordie presenting duo then revealed that the public vote has immediately reopened. Fans now have the power to save their favourite celebrities from a brutal double elimination scheduled for Friday's episode.
This leaves the remaining six contestants in a tense battle for survival:

Only four will make it through to face the legendary, fan-favourite Celebrity Cyclone trial, the final challenge before one star is crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.
Exemption Revelation and Final Trial
Kemp's exit followed his first and only Bushtucker Trial earlier in Thursday's episode. He teamed up with Tom Read Wilson for the 'Lethal Libraries' challenge, which involved rummaging through snake-covered bookshelves.
This came after presenter Vogue Williams had revealed in a live stream that Martin had been secretly exempt from some of the earlier trials, a fact that surprised many viewers.
The competition is now reaching its climax. I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! continues on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm, with the dramatic double elimination deciding who gets to tackle the iconic Celebrity Cyclone.
