Viewers of ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! have accused contestant Angry Ginge of deliberate 'sabotage' following a culinary catastrophe in the camp. The incident, which aired on Thursday 4 December 2025, saw the content creator forced into a humbling apology after his actions left two campmates without a proper meal.
The Kitchen Catastrophe Unfolds
During the episode, Ginge volunteered for kitchen duty alongside fellow campmate Shona McGarty. Despite offers of help from Jack Osbourne, Ginge opted to work alone. The critical error occurred when he plated up chicken for the camp, placing it directly on top of a shared dish of avocado.
This move effectively contaminated the avocado, rendering it inedible for the camp's vegetarians, Lisa Riley and rapper Aitch. A horrified realisation dawned when Shona pointed out the mistake. "I've f***ed that up, haven't I?" Ginge exclaimed before addressing the group.
A Forced Apology and Camp Backlash
Facing the consequences, Ginge issued a direct apology. "I would like to apologise. There's been a c*** up," he stated, explaining the situation to Lisa and Aitch and confirming they could no longer eat the avocado.
The camp's reaction was swift. Aitch responded with a blunt, "What a k***!" Meanwhile, Jack Osbourne's silent, disappointed stare spoke volumes, captured in a now-viral screenshot shared by fans online.
Fan Fury Erupts on Social Media
The blunder did not go unnoticed by the show's dedicated audience, who quickly took to social media to voice their opinions. Many labelled the incident as intentional sabotage, suggesting Ginge's refusal of help was a key factor.
One fan commented on the cooking failure, writing, "Ginge being s*** at cooking on his first day as camp chef lmaoooo, Jack's stare says it all." Another directly accused him: "Tonight has been a great episode! Have been cracking up! Ginge sabotaging the veggie dinners!"
A third viewer criticised his attitude, stating, "That’s what happens when you’re too full of yourself and don’t accept any advice…."
Fallout and Favourite Status
Despite the controversy and accusations of being "too full of himself," Angry Ginge remains a strong contender in the competition. At the time of the episode, he was the bookies' second favourite to win the entire series, sitting just behind Aitch.
The episode also saw the departure of actor Martin Kemp, who was the favourite to be eliminated. His exit came after campmates volunteered him for a trial alongside Tom Read Wilson, following perceptions he was not getting involved enough in challenges.
