Corrie fans 'work out' where Jodie is in Emmerdale crossover twist

Coronation Street fans believe they have worked out where Jodie Ramsay has disappeared to, and their theory points to a shock Emmerdale crossover twist.

Jodie (Olivia Frances-Brown) made her debut in January during the Corriedale crossover episode. She then made it to Weatherfield, where she promptly revealed herself as the long-lost half-sister of Shona Platt (Julia Goulding).

Jodie's dramatic storyline

Since then, Jodie has caused plenty of drama. As well as stealing several items from her fellow cobbles residents — including a gun — Jodie also attacked Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) on the night of Theo Silverton's (James Cartwright) murder. Recently, Jodie turned her attention to sister Shona and her newborn baby Harper, tormenting Shona with cruel mind games.

Things took a dramatic turn last week when Jodie's lies were exposed, leading to a gun showdown between Jodie, David (Jack P. Shepherd) and Shona which ended with Jodie being shot. Jodie was rushed to hospital and managed to survive the gunshot wound. While David wanted to see the back of his sister-in-law, a guilt-ridden Shona decided she still wanted her younger sister to stay in her life.

Fans' Emmerdale theory

However, when Shona headed back to the hospital to speak to Jodie, she saw that Jodie had gone. A nurse then let her know that the patient had discharged herself.

Now, fans are certain they know where Jodie has gone, and they reckon it involves an Emmerdale character. On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, one person wrote: "Looks like Graham has taken Jodie," referring to Emmerdale's Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough).

Fans will recall that Jodie and Graham were first seen together in the Corriedale crossover, in which Jodie was tied up in the back of Graham's van. It was later revealed that Graham had been hired by a dangerous gang to get rid of Jodie.

Fan predictions

Predicting another crossover, other fans agreed with the theory. A second person penned: "I'm sure Graham has come got her in his van!" A third said: "I hope so!!!!!! And don't bring her back." A fourth penned: "That would be good."

Coronation Street airs Monday to Friday at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
