The person responsible for August's spate of GTA 6 gameplay leaks has returned with almost 25 minutes of new footage, including a chunk that stars a naked Jason. Despite appearing to vanish from the internet, the notorious leaker Cyberleek has re-appeared to share even more unofficial GTA 6 gameplay footage.
Cyberleek somehow obtained an early build of GTA 6 in August and began sharing footage on a daily basis during the run-up to Rockstar's big gameplay preview. After the preview dropped, Cyberleek went completely quiet, and it was believed they exited the scene with all the cryptocurrency donations they had received from people willing to pay to vote on which footage would be leaked next.
Longest leak yet
Given all that, it's something of a surprise to see another GTA 6 leak appear out of nowhere. Not only that, but the footage is 24 minutes long, making it the longest of these leaks so far and almost as long as Rockstar's own preview.
Since the outlet does not want to be sued into the stratosphere, it will not be sharing any of the footage, but it can confirm that it features Jason and Lucia almost entirely nude, both in gameplay and cut scenes. Rockstar had only recently confirmed GTA 6 will contain at least one nude scene, but the leak shows you can have Jason and Lucia baring it all whenever you want.
Nude scenes and debug mode
For whatever reason, Cyberleek's gameplay only shows Lucia from behind, but she very clearly doesn't have a top or bra on, and nor is she wearing any panties to cover up her bottom. Jason, meanwhile, can be seen walking around the city wearing nothing but a pair of shoes, with his privates on full display even in cut scenes; something that other characters in the scenes do not question in the slightest.
Considering Rockstar said, in a New York Times interview, that other characters will notice if you have a gun on the street and call the police, the fact that they're not responding to the fact that you're stark naked is almost certainly a result of Cyberleek playing around with the debug system. This is reinforced by one point in the video where a tank suddenly spawns in mid-air, in what is clearly not something that would happen in normal gameplay.
First-person mode and next steps
The footage also highlights dirt bike racing and car customisation for night-time street races, but these were details heavily implied by previous trailers and screenshots. Although one detail that wasn't known is that there will be first-person options, both for driving and just walking around.
This further raises questions of how Cyberleek managed to acquire a version of the game they can tinker with as if they were a developer. The only thing more baffling is why Cyberleek insists on poking the hornet's nest that is Rockstar and its very expensive lawyers. It seems especially pointless to return now, given the Netflix preview and interviews have now shown so much, and the game is out next month.
Previously, Cyberleek claimed the leaks were a form of protest against Rockstar's decision to not release a physical version of GTA 6, and they would stop if those plans changed. So far that hasn't happened, and it's not likely to either.
