The excitement for the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! has officially begun as the first celebrities, including the heavily tipped favourite Angry Ginge, have landed in Australia.
Jungle Favourite Touches Down
Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, was mobbed by fans upon his arrival at Brisbane Airport today. The 23-year-old social media star, who boasts over two million online followers, is the current bookies' favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle.
He has some famous friends in his corner, with former England football captain Wayne Rooney and darts prodigy Luke Littler among those cheering him on. His arrival from Manchester Airport marks the start of the 25th series, which promises to be the most memorable yet according to show insiders.
First Celebrity Arrivals Hit Australia
Ginge was not the only famous face to jet into the sunshine. He was preceded by a wave of other celebrities, all gearing up for their jungle adventure.
Kelly Brook, the 45-year-old model, DJ, and TV host, was in high spirits, joking that she was "hopping with delight" at the prospect of seeing her distant family and some kangaroos. "I haven't seen my auntie Sheila for a long time, so I can't wait to see her," she said, adding that she was also looking forward to surfing and seeing koalas.
Lisa Riley, best known for playing Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale, declared her Northern toughness upon landing. "I'm from the North… we're made of tough skin," the 49-year-old actress stated. "I am a Dingle, I can cope with anything." She referenced her previous work on a farm as preparation for dealing with the jungle's infamous creepy-crawlies.
Completing the first wave of arrivals was former EastEnders star Shona McGarty, 34, who quipped, "I got on the wrong flight! I'm gonna have to ask for directions back now."
Anticipation Builds for November Launch
Other stars confirmed to be flying Down Under include musician Martin Kemp, comic Ruby Wax, TV presenter Alex Scott, and Jack Osbourne. They will be joined by comic Eddie Kadi, rapper Aitch, presenter Vogue Williams, and, of course, Angry Ginge.
While ITV will formally announce the full line-up this week, two names will be held back as surprise latecomers to the jungle camp. The show's iconic hosts, Ant and Dec, have already begun the countdown, posting a photo in jungle-print pyjamas with the caption: "If anyone needs us, we'll just be waiting here until 16th November."
The new series of I'm A Celebrity is scheduled to begin on 16th November 2025, with producers promising to pull out all the stops for this milestone 25th series.
