Zayn Malik Cancels US Tour Dates After Hospital Stay

Zayn Malik has cancelled his upcoming US tour dates, along with additional performances in Dublin and Birmingham, citing a need to reduce his schedule following a recent hospitalisation.

Singer's announcement on Instagram

The former One Direction star took to Instagram to share the news, expressing gratitude for fan support and well-wishes. He stated that he is recovering well at home and will be "better and stronger than before." The cancellations come after Malik was hospitalised on April 17, the same day his new album, Konnakol, was released. He posted a picture from his hospital bed at the time without detailing his condition.

Impact on tour schedule

Despite the tour adjustments, tickets for some UK and Mexico dates remain available for purchase on his official website. Notably, a concert scheduled for May 23 at London's O2 arena is still set to go ahead. Fans who purchased tickets for the cancelled dates through Ticketmaster will receive automatic refunds. Those who used third-party sellers are advised to contact their original point of purchase.
