Shpat Kasapi died on Wednesday in Monza, Italy, according to reports. He was in the country with his wife, Selvije Jao, where they were seeking crucial medical advice for their young son, Roel. The singer had no known prior medical conditions, making his sudden passing an immense shock to his family, friends, and legions of fans.
His wife, Selvije, shared the devastating news on her Instagram Stories, posting a heart-wrenching tribute alongside a photograph of Kasapi holding their son. She revealed that the tragedy unfolded with him dying in her arms, a moment of profound grief she articulated in her post.
A Heartbreaking Farewell
Selvije's emotional message captured the depth of her loss. "You left us here alone, without you," she wrote. "You died in my arms. How close we were, how cooperative we were in maintaining our privacy." She recalled his promise to love her until death, poignantly asking, "Why did you die in my arms? Why did you break my heart like this, my love?"
Her tribute concluded with a expression of faith and despair, stating, "I hope to meet you in Heaven. The couple, who met on the set of one of his music videos, married in 2021 and resided in Tirana, Albania.
