Cruz Beckham's Musical Milestone
Cruz Beckham, the 20-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham, delivered a moving performance with his band, The Breakers, at an intimate gig on Wednesday. The event, held for close family and friends, was such an emotional success that it reportedly left his famous parents in 'tears of pride'. The following day, Cruz took to his Instagram to reflect on the 'amazing night', sharing a series of photos from the celebration.
A Family Affair and Public Displays of Affection
The evening was very much a family affair. Among the snaps Cruz posted online were two particularly touching images of his father, David Beckham, 50, wrapping him in a proud hug and beaming with joy. The former footballer himself shared a clip of the performance on his own Instagram, penning a heartfelt caption about his pride. He wrote: 'Family & friends night with Cruz we r so proud of you mate we love you and the journey that you are on... Tonight was full of love & a few tears of joy and pride.'
Proud mother Victoria Beckham, 51, was also in the front row, sharing her own video of Cruz singing and playing the guitar. She gushed, 'Wow!!! You look so happy Cruz and we couldn’t be prouder we love you.' The family support extended beyond his immediate parents, with his grandmother Sandra and family friend Gordon Ramsay also publicly expressing their pride.
The social media posts also highlighted Cruz's romance with his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, 30. Cruz shared a loved-up photo pulling her in for a cuddle, while Jackie posted an even more intimate snap on her own profile. The picture showed the pair passionately kissing while wearing matching fur coats, captioned 'for your love'. The couple, who first started dating in June 2024, confirmed their romance publicly last October.
New Music and Future Releases
During the set, Cruz performed his latest single, the explicit track 'Optics', which features lyrics about drugs and sex. He also played his second single, 'Lick The Toad', a song he has described as being based on 'mother nature'. Jackie Apostel hinted that a debut album might be on the horizon soon, commenting on her post, 'Might it finally be time to drop what we've all been waiting for? @cruzbeckham.'
This performance follows the news that Cruz has signed with the top music management company C3, known for working with acts like The Strokes. Earlier on the day of the gig, Cruz and his mother Victoria also left fans begging for a duet after they performed an acoustic version of the Spice Girls' 'Viva Forever' together in their London home.
