Jeremy Clarkson Adds New Cows to Diddly Squat Farm for Season 6

Jeremy Clarkson has added new livestock to Diddly Squat Farm as production for Season 6 of Clarkson's Farm is now underway. The 66-year-old broadcaster announced the acquisition of new cows on social media, following a trip to the Scottish Borders.

In a post on social media, Clarkson reflected on the beauty of the British countryside, stating: "I've always never been able to decide which is Britain's most beautiful bit: North Devon or the Yorkshire Dales. But I've just spent the last three days in the Scottish Borders and now I have an answer. God almighty, they're beautiful." He then added: "Also, I bought some cows there."

Fans Speculate on Cow Breed

Several followers responded to Clarkson's announcement, inquiring about the breed of the new cows. Some speculated that they might be Highland cattle, though Clarkson did not provide further details. The new arrivals join the existing livestock at Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds.

Clarkson also confirmed that Season 6 of his Amazon Prime series, Clarkson's Farm, is currently in production. This comes after he revealed in Season 5 that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, casting doubt on the show's future.

Health Update and Season 6 Confirmation

In the Season 5 finale, Clarkson expressed uncertainty about his ability to continue filming, telling viewers: "I'm going to be here for a little while. I don't know what's going to happen. What I wanted to say was if this is all successful, I'll see you in season six, and if it isn't, I won't. Take care, everyone."

However, in a recent interview, Clarkson revealed that he is now in remission, describing himself as "the world's luckiest man." He confirmed that Clarkson's Farm will indeed return for a sixth series, ending speculation about the programme's future. Taking to Instagram, he announced: "I am delighted to tell you Season 6 of Clarkson's Farm is currently being filmed, it's in production. And that's particularly good news for me because, well if you know you know. And if you don't know, you need to watch Season 5."

Production Underway Despite Health Concerns

It remains unclear whether the sixth series will face delays following Clarkson's treatment for prostate cancer. The show, which documents his experiences running Diddly Squat Farm and his Cotswolds pub, continues to feature key team members including Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland. Clarkson's Farm Season 6 is in production on Prime Video.
