Emma McKeon is gradually stepping back into the public eye following the revelation of her breakup with former boyfriend Cody Simpson earlier this year. The 31-year-old Olympic swimmer attended the opening night of Disney's The Lion King at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney on Thursday, opting to go solo for the event.
She appeared in high spirits, turning heads in a white halter dress adorned with polka dots. Complementing her outfit, she wore strappy black sandals with a low heel and carried a pink designer purse with a gold chain strap over her arm. Her makeup featured a warm-toned, glowing palette with nude lip gloss, and her caramel locks were worn down. She accessorised with gold hoop earrings and several rings.
It was confirmed in February that Cody and Emma had ended their four-year relationship. Since the news, Cody has been linked to American influencer Adelia Clark after they were spotted looking very cozy together at a Los Angeles café, with Cody wrapping his arm around her shoulders. However, they quickly separated upon noticing they were being photographed.
Recently, Cody took to social media to share that he is focusing on himself. In a clip posted on Instagram and TikTok, he posed by a basketball court while his track Baby Blue played. The caption read: 'No girlfriend, gym x4 per week, reading daily.'
Cody's sister Alli confirmed the split on The Morning Show, stating that her brother and Emma have 'moved on' from each other. The couple, who began dating in April 2022, had sparked breakup speculation as they appeared to be living increasingly separate lives.
