Cole Hauser, best known for his role as Rip Wheeler on the hit series Yellowstone, has revealed that some of his older female fans have been getting a little too handsy. The 50-year-old actor told Page Six at a recent tasting event for his bourbon brand in Arlington, Texas: 'I’ve had some old women grab my a**.' He described the interactions as 'a little bit strange.'
Hauser, whose father Wings Hauser died in March, added that while most fans are respectful, 'when the older ladies get a few drinks in them, they get a little aggressive.' The comments come as Hauser prepares for a new unnamed Yellowstone spinoff, filming in North Texas alongside former co-star Kelly Reilly and newcomer Annette Bening.
Reilly will reprise her role as Beth Dutton, wife to Hauser's Rip. Hauser praised their on-screen relationship, saying, 'The love that they have for each other. The amount of just loyalty, the honor, the friendship they have on camera — and I have that with Kelly, as well.' He called her 'an amazing woman, more importantly than a great actress.'
Hauser also discussed his bourbon brand, Lazy K Bar Straight Bourbon Whiskey, emphasising that unlike many celebrity spirits, his has 'tremendous history' and that he spent time 'finessing the juice' with the distiller. Hauser comes from a Hollywood dynasty: his mother Cass Warner is the granddaughter of Harry Warner, one of the founders of Warner Bros.
