Victoria Beckham made sure to showcase her husband David and prove he still has it at 51 as she marked his birthday on Saturday. Taking to Instagram with a heartfelt tribute, the former Spice Girl, 52, shared a snap of David flaunting his chiseled physique in a tiny pair of red Speedos. Beaming in the photo taken during one of their many holidays, the former footballer left little to the imagination as he displayed his abs and array of tattoos.
Family Tributes and Celebrations
Victoria also posted a sweet snap of David as a child holding a football, along with photos of the couple looking loved up. In a heartfelt caption, she wrote: 'You are our world, our everything. We love you so much!!! Happy birthday to the best husband, daddy, son, brother, and friend. To the kindest most generous soul. We will spoil you all day!!!! Nobody deserves it more than you xxx.'
Their son Romeo also shared a tribute on Instagram with two childhood snaps of his dad, writing: 'Happy birthday dad, love you so much, thank u for everything you do,' and 'My best mate.'
Pre-Birthday Dinner at The Dorchester
David kicked off his celebrations with a lavish meal at The Dorchester in London on Friday night. Victoria planted a kiss on his cheek as he enjoyed a family evening out complete with cake and candles. He was joined by his mother Sandra, father Ted and his partner Hilary, as well as sisters Lynne and Jojo. Victoria's parents Jackie and Anthony Adams also attended. Sharing photos on Instagram, Victoria wrote: 'The first of many celebrations. Happy birthday eve!'
Ongoing Feud with Son Brooklyn
While none of the Beckham children appeared at the dinner, Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz are expected to miss celebrating with David this weekend. David and Victoria have not spoken to Brooklyn since last May, when he and his wife snubbed the former footballer's 50th birthday celebrations. Brooklyn cut ties with his family in a scathing social media statement in January, declaring no plans to reconcile and accusing them of controlling him.
Victoria Addresses Challenging Year
In a rare TV interview last week, Victoria addressed the 'challenging' past year amid the feud. When asked on the Today show about getting through tough times, she replied: 'Myself and David, we're so close and we have incredible people around us. We support each other through everything. We love our children so much and have always focused on protecting them. But we laugh a lot. David is really, super funny.' She added: 'We've grown together. I want him to be the best version of himself and that's what he wants for me.'
