Former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison has proven that the show must go on, sharing a series of glamorous photos from her 38th birthday celebrations just days after her sad elimination from Strictly Come Dancing.
A Night of Glamour and Gratitude
Taking to Instagram over the weekend, the reality TV personality was a vision of happiness, posing in a chic all-black mini dress alongside her husband, Ercan Ramadan, and a host of her Strictly companions. The celebration was held at the trendy @broadwicksoho, with Vicky captioning the photos: "Happy birthday to meeeee.... A gorgeous evening celebrating with some of my favourite people in the world... I feel so loved and lucky."
Among the famous faces joining the festivities were fellow contestants Chris Robshaw, George Clarke, Karen Carney, and Julian Caillon, as well as Kai Widdrington's girlfriend, Chloe Wells. In another stunning snap, Vicky lit up the room in a shimmering red dress, laughing with her dapper-suited husband as she blew out the candles on an elaborate cake decorated with red hearts from @bakedpeterborough.
Bouncing Back After the Dance-Off
The joyous birthday bash came shortly after Vicky's Strictly journey came to an end. She and her professional partner, Kai Widdrington, found themselves in the dreaded dance-off against EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal and her partner Julian Caillon.
After both couples performed—Pattison and Widdrington with a Jive to "Sound Of The Underground" by Girls Aloud, and Sopal and Caillon with an American Smooth to "My Guy"—the judges' decision fell to Craig Revel Horwood. With Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke all voting to save Sopal and Caillon, Revel Horwood confirmed he would have made the same choice, ending Vicky's hopes of dancing at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
Heartfelt Tributes and Looking Forward
Reflecting on her time on the show, Vicky was full of emotion and praise for her partner. "It was so lovely while it lasted and I've had the nicest time," she said. "I'm really honoured to have shared this experience with so many amazing people. Mostly with this fella right here. You've been the best partner a girl can ask for. I'm so sorry I didn't get you to Blackpool but I feel like I've won just by having you as my partner."
Kai Widdrington responded in kind, telling Vicky: "You are everything that this series is about. Strong, confident, independent – and all that I can say is, I have loved every single second. I feel like I have also won getting you as my partner, and you will live on in Strictly history forever."
Fans flooded her birthday post with supportive messages, proving that while her Strictly journey may be over, her popularity remains as strong as ever.
