Venezuela Fury, the teenage reality star from Netflix's At Home With The Furys, has said she “ain’t bothered” by criticism of her decision to marry at age 16. She tied the knot with boyfriend Noah Price, 19, on the Isle of Man in May, where the legal marriage age is 16 with parental consent. In England and Wales, the minimum marriage age is 18, and it is illegal to marry under 18 even with parental consent.
Fury’s Response to Critics
Speaking on ITV’s This Morning, Fury stated: “I think, as long it’s not my family or my friends, they’re the people what matter to me, I ain’t bothered.” She added: “I don’t like people being unkind. I don’t agree with spreading badness where they shouldn’t be. But yes, I am young, but I found the person I want, and I’ve carried on with my life. Everyone’s got to start somewhere, so I started young.”
Married Life and Learning to Cook
When asked about married life, Fury said: “I’m enjoying it. We’ve only been married a month, but everything’s going smoothly. I’m learning new things every day. I’m learning how to cook. We go everywhere together. We do everything together. It’s really nice.”
Price’s Perspective
Boxer Noah Price told the show he “knew from the start” he wanted to marry Venezuela. He said: “I didn’t want to mess her about, I thought she was perfect. I was her first boyfriend, she was wife material. When I first seen her, I thought, yeah, I’m gonna marry that girl one day. And then I made the dream come true.”
Background on the Family Show
At Home With The Furys follows heavyweight champion Tyson Fury as he exits the ring and tries to embrace retirement with his family, including his wife Paris, father John, and their children. Venezuela is one of Tyson Fury’s children.
