A model famously dubbed as having the 'UK's biggest lips' has undergone a dramatic transformation by dissolving facial filler to reveal her natural appearance for the first time in ten years. Sofia Lips, a 28-year-old from Manchester who has garnered online notoriety for her extensive plastic surgery journey, has spent a staggering sum exceeding £500,000 on various cosmetic procedures to alter her look.
Near-Fatal Surgery and Facial Reassessment
Sofia's decision to dissolve the filler in her cheeks and jaw comes after a harrowing experience with botched breast surgery in Turkey, which nearly cost her life. During that ordeal, her implants began leaking a green substance, leaving her fearing for her survival. While this traumatic incident did not deter her from maintaining her famously plump lips, it prompted a serious reconsideration of her facial aesthetics.
"I've had to change my Face ID to unlock my phone as it didn't recognise me anymore," Sofia revealed, highlighting the extent of the change. The dissolving sessions, which cost £2,000, required quadruple the usual amount of dissolving agent due to the volume of filler present, leaving her with black eyes for two weeks.
Embarrassment and Ongoing Lip Maintenance
Despite the removal of filler from her cheeks and jaw, Sofia admits to feeling "embarrassed" by her natural face, stating she cannot leave the house because she was so accustomed to her enhanced features. I tend not to eat or drink out as people take pictures of me struggling otherwise," she said, adding that the attention she receives, both positive and negative, is a trade-off for the financial benefits she gains from her appearance.

Sofia's perspective is pragmatic: "I get money from it – so why would I care?" she remarked, addressing the ridicule she sometimes faces. Her previous surgery in Turkey, which left her worried her "life was on the line," has not diminished her ambitions; she currently wears a 38GG bra size and hopes to increase it further in the future.
