Victoria Jones, the actress daughter of Hollywood star Tommy Lee Jones, has been found dead in a luxury San Francisco hotel on New Year's Day. The 34-year-old, who had roles in films including Men in Black II, was discovered unresponsive in the early hours of 1 January 2026.

Emergency Response and Investigation

Emergency services were called to an upmarket establishment on the 900 block of Mason Street at approximately 3:14 a.m. after hotel staff raised the alarm. Paramedics from the San Francisco Fire Department performed CPR but pronounced the adult female deceased at the scene.

The case was subsequently transferred to the San Francisco Police Department. The San Francisco Medical Examiner also attended to conduct an investigation. A police spokesperson confirmed the incident involved "a report of a deceased person" and that an adult female was declared dead by medics. The cause of death is currently unknown.

Life and Career of Victoria Jones

Victoria Kafka Jones was born on 3 September 1991. She was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley, to whom he was married from 1981 to 1996. She shared a brother, Austin, 42.

Her acting career began as a child, with her film debut being a small role in her father's 2002 blockbuster Men in Black II. She later appeared in a 2003 episode of the series One Tree Hill and had a part in the 2005 Western The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, which was directed by her father.

In adulthood, she largely retreated from public life, though she occasionally accompanied her father to red carpet events. One such appearance was in 2017 at the ArcLight Hollywood premiere of his film Just Getting Started.

Authorities have asked anyone with information to contact the SFPD. The police investigation, alongside the Medical Examiner's inquiry, will seek to establish the full circumstances surrounding her death.

Tommy Lee Jones, the acclaimed actor who won a Golden Globe for 1994's The Fugitive, has been informed of the tragedy. Representatives for the Jones family have been approached for comment.
