In a deeply personal and emotional interview, Linda Clark, the mother of beloved TV presenter Rylan Clark, has bravely opened up about a painful family rift that has left her heartbroken.
The 71-year-old revealed that she has been estranged from her son for several months following a bitter disagreement within the family. Fighting back tears, Linda shared: "It's been the hardest time of my life. Not speaking to my boy has left a hole in my heart."
The Pain of Separation
Linda, who became a fan favourite during her appearances on Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side with Rylan, described how the feud began after "certain things were said that can't be taken back" during a family gathering earlier this year.
"We've always been so close," she recalled. "Rylan was my little shadow growing up. To not have him in my life now is unbearable at times."
Hopes for Reconciliation
Despite the current estrangement, Linda remains hopeful that the family can heal their wounds. "I pray every day that we can sort this out," she confessed. "Life's too short for these kinds of fallouts, especially between a mother and her child."
The grandmother-of-three admitted she still watches Rylan's TV appearances religiously, saying: "I'm so proud of everything he's achieved. He's worked so hard to get where he is."
Support from Fans
Since news of the feud emerged, fans have flooded social media with messages of support for both Linda and Rylan. Many have shared their own stories of family reconciliation to offer hope.
Linda expressed gratitude for the public's kindness: "The messages have kept me going on my darkest days. People can be so wonderful."
As the interview concluded, Linda sent a heartfelt message to her son: "I love you always, no matter what. My door is always open."
