Ross Kemp Celebrates England World Cup Win Passionately

Ross Kemp beat his chest and shouted as he celebrated England’s decisive World Cup victory over Croatia.

The documentary maker and former EastEnders star is well known for his passionate reactions to national football matches.

Shortly after captain Harry Kane’s penalty goal, he took to his Instagram story to shout: “Come on! That’s what we need to start!

“Now it’s 0-0, it’s not 1-0, we play it like it’s 0-0. Come on England!”

Following Kane’s second goal, he celebrated saying: “That’s the way we are going to win it, those set pieces. (Declan) Rice – Kane.

“That’s the way we are going to win it. Absolutely clinical.”

He then chanted: “Love it, love it, love it,” while slapping himself on the chest.

Speaking during half-time, when Croatia equalised 2-2, he remained buoyant, saying: “Alright so here we are, what have we proved we can do?

“We can prove we can come back and win, because that is within us.

“90% of life is about fearing things that will never happen to you so let’s go out and prove we are the better team, which we are, but my gosh we need to change the things at the back right now.

“Stop making silly pass backs to goalkeeper, make sure we take control and prove we are the better team, let’s see (Bukayo) Saka.”

Kemp’s jubilant celebrations continued after a third goal was scored by Jude Bellingham minutes into the second half.

He said: “Harry Kane, but we have another talisman, Mr Jude, Jude Jude Jude.

“That is a great time to score. That is going to undermine their confidence, that is a brilliant piece of skill.

“That is why he is recognised as being as being one of the best tens (midfielders) in the world and as cool as you get.

“That is why we need to prove to the rest of them out there just how good we are. Look at him.”

He added: “Love it, love it,” while gently hitting himself in the face.

England’s victory was clinched with a fourth goal by Marcus Rashford, which cemented Kemp’s celebrations.

He said: “Marcus Rashford! Of Course! And why not? A brilliant piece of management. Let’s not forget the German in the game (manager Thomas Tuchel) – clinical.

“Also Saka being on the pitch at the same time, people may get wise to that at a certain point but bear in mind Croatia are a very good side and we are winning 4-2 down to great management and great talent and my heart is beating a little slower. I’m an old man.”

England now fly back to their Kansas City base to begin preparations for next Tuesday’s Boston encounter with Ghana.
