Robert Irwin and Witney Carson Earn Perfect Score on DWTS After Gruelling Rehearsals
Robert Irwin scores perfect 40 on Dancing With The Stars

Australian wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin has taken the American dance floor by storm, achieving the first perfect score of the season on Dancing With The Stars US alongside professional partner Witney Carson.

The 20-year-old son of the late Steve Irwin delivered a breathtaking Foxtrot to Harry Styles' "Sweet Creature" that left judges and audience members spellbound. The performance earned a standing ovation and unanimous praise from the judging panel.

Behind the Perfect Performance

Their triumph didn't come easily. The pair revealed they had been putting in gruelling rehearsal sessions, with Carson admitting they'd been "working our butts off" to perfect their routine.

"The dedication Robert has shown is incredible," Carson shared during rehearsals. "We've been pushing through some really intense practices to make this dance something special."

Judges' Verdict

The hard work paid off spectacularly. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba called their performance "absolutely stunning," while Bruno Tonioli declared it "perfection from start to finish."

All four judges awarded the pair perfect 10s, marking the first time this season any couple has achieved the coveted perfect score of 40.

A Tribute to Family

The emotional performance held special significance for Irwin, who continues to honour his father's legacy through his conservation work and now, through his dancing.

"To be able to share this experience and make my family proud means everything," Irwin said after receiving their scores.

The young conservationist's journey on the popular dance competition continues to win over American audiences, proving that his talents extend far beyond wildlife handling.
