Prince Harry misses UK life, wants to downsize in America

Prince Harry, who has lived in America for six years since stepping down from royal duties in 2020, reportedly misses life in Britain and is not fully content with his current existence in the United States, according to sources cited by a royal commentator.

Harry's Discontent in America

Dan Wakeford, founder of the pop-culture newsletter Celebrity Intelligence, told Fox News Digital: "Harry particularly doesn't love the life he has in America. He misses his family, his friends and his former existence in the U.K." Wakeford added that sources indicate Harry "would be content to downsize and have a smaller life instead of living on such a grand scale, but I think that is more Meghan."

Life in Montecito

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with their two children Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, have resided in a mansion in Montecito, California, since leaving the UK. While the family appears to enjoy activities such as surfing and beach walks, the prince's longing for his homeland persists.

Recent UK Visit

Harry, 41, was in the UK last week for a series of public engagements, including visiting a children's hospital, participating in goat yoga, and attending Invictus Games events. He also had private time, reuniting with King Charles and Queen Camilla and staying at Althorp, the ancestral home of his late mother, Princess Diana.

The original plan for the entire family to spend the week in Britain changed when Harry learned he was not entitled to armed police protection. This led Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet to join him for only a few days after adequate private security was arranged. It was the first time the family had been together in the UK since 2022.
