Presley Family Feud Ends as Secret Settlement Reached

The long-running legal dispute within the Presley family has been resolved, with both sides confirming a settlement has been reached. The feud began after the death of Lisa Marie Presley in January 2023, when her mother, Priscilla Presley, challenged a 2016 amendment to Lisa Marie's will.

Priscilla's lawyers argued that the amendment misspelled her name and bore an unusual signature. The dispute escalated with reports that Lisa Marie's daughter, Riley Keough, had changed locks at Graceland, though Graceland denied this. Priscilla was also removed as a trustee, replaced by Riley and her late brother Benjamin.

In May 2023, lawyers for both Priscilla and Riley announced the settlement in a Los Angeles court. Priscilla's attorney, Ronson Shamoun, stated: 'They have reached a settlement. Families are happy.' Riley's attorney, Justin Gold, added: 'She would not have agreed to the settlement if she was not happy with it. She is very content.'

The settlement ends a bitter public feud that had left Riley 'heartbroken,' according to a source close to the family. The terms of the agreement remain confidential, but it is understood to resolve disputes over Lisa Marie's estate, including her $35 million insurance policies and control of Graceland.
