Mum Accidentally Gifts Lingerie in Birthday Bag

A mother has shared the mortifying moment she accidentally included a pair of women's underwear in a birthday gift for her daughter's seven-year-old friend. Nicole Sherwin, from Melbourne, purchased a monster truck toy at Kmart for her daughter to give to a school friend at his birthday party. With time to spare, she decided to browse the rest of the store and picked up some lingerie from the women's section.

At the checkout, she placed everything into the gift bag, planning to remove the underwear later. However, after dropping her daughter off at the party, she realised she had forgotten to take the 'cheeky' item out. 'Unfortunately, my daughter will be changing schools immediately due to an incident that occurred over the weekend,' Nicole said in a now-viral video.

She explained that being an organised mother, she bought the present on the way to the party. After grabbing the truck and a gift bag, she noticed they had plenty of time and decided to look around. 'Being the practical woman that I am, I spot some cheeky undies, can never have too many undies, so I yoinked them,' she said. She placed the underwear in the gift bag to save the environment, intending to take them out later, but forgot.

'I dropped her off at the party, come back home and thought, "Where are those cheeky undies gone?" Oh, they're still in the present bag... My daughter just gave her friend a monster truck and some women's undies for his seventh birthday,' she recounted. Embarrassed, she joked about pulling her daughter out of school immediately.

The video has been viewed over one million times, with many commenters offering humorous advice. 'OMG my worst fear,' one shared. 'At this point you should pack up and move to Jupiter,' another joked. 'I would simply pass away,' one said, to which Nicole responded, 'I am reporting from the grave.' Others suggested moving to an isolated island or becoming a lighthouse keeper.

Some tried to lighten the mood, with one commenter saying, 'It's very nice to get something for his mum too!' Another revealed a similar experience: 'I met my best friend this way. I gifted her son a variety bag of G-strings for her son's third birthday. We've been best friends ever since.' One parent warned others to always give personal items their own bag.
