MAFS Star Gia Fleur Spotted on Romantic Melbourne Date with New Beau Alan Wallace
MAFS Gia Fleur's Romantic Date with New Boyfriend Alan Wallace

Married At First Sight participant Gia Fleur has been captured on camera during a romantic night out in Melbourne with her new partner Alan Wallace, following confirmation of their surprising relationship. The 35-year-old television personality was observed strolling through Southbank in January after dining, displaying affection with Wallace as they spent time with friends before departing the restaurant together.

First Public Appearance Since Romance Revelation

This sighting represents the initial public appearance of the couple since Daily Mail exposed their off-screen connection, which developed in the months after Gia's tumultuous televised marriage to Scott McCristal began to deteriorate. Dressed for an evening of enjoyment, Gia attracted attention in a revealing white halter-neck top combined with a flowing orange patterned maxi skirt that brushed the ground.

Fashion Choices and Evening Details

She enhanced the ensemble with an oversized beige blazer and finished the outfit with strappy white heels and a small designer shoulder bag. Her lengthy blonde hair cascaded in loose waves across her shoulders, and at one moment, she refreshed her makeup while conversing with friends on the pavement.

Alan, also aged 35, selected a more relaxed attire, wearing a black T-shirt, fitted blue jeans, and white sneakers, displaying his tattooed arms as he walked alongside Gia. The couple were seen laughing together and embracing one another while exiting the restaurant with their group. However, they later separated from their friends and continued the night alone.

Alan was even photographed carrying Gia's handbag as they walked down the street before entering a vehicle. This intimate outing occurs after Gia confirmed to Daily Mail that her relationship with Alan had quietly progressed behind the scenes while her television marriage continued to broadcast nationally.

Behind-the-Scenes Romance Development

For weeks, audiences have watched the Melbourne-based bride attempt to rescue her relationship with Scott during the Channel Nine experiment. Off camera, however, her love life had already taken a significantly different direction. In a frank interview, Gia admitted she could no longer maintain the pretence that her marriage remained intact.

"Navigating the new relationship has been hard, which is why I've done no Stan show and minimal press because I can't keep pretending I'm with Scott when I'm so in love with Alan," she stated. "It's hard to be fake and lie and I don't want to upset Alan, so we're just focusing on our real life together."

Relationship Origins and Deepening Connection

Gia disclosed that the pair initially began communicating toward the conclusion of filming before meeting properly at a Sydney party in December. "The relationship began officially around New Year's Eve, but we were talking for a couple of months off and on before then," she elaborated.

Their initial attraction was immediate. "When I saw Alan for the first time I knew I liked him because I was getting super jealous of him speaking to another girl," she confessed. "I was following him around most of the day trying to see if they were going to kiss or not. I was instantly like that's my man - he just doesn't know it yet."

While their chemistry was evident from the beginning, Gia explained their bond strengthened once they started spending time together away from the reality television spotlight. "What drew me to him was that he was emotionally mature and deep, and seemed to be everything on paper I had asked the experts for," she said.

Alan's Perspective and Relationship Progression

Alan acknowledged he originally approached the situation cautiously after observing the emotional impact of the MAFS experiment. "Coming off a f**king experience like that I knew it would be very confronting," he remarked. "I wasn't sure how ready she would be or if she would even want to get into something serious that soon after."

However, he soon recognised Gia was serious about him. "I was obviously interested and attracted to her, but what really stood out was the effort she was putting in," he clarified. "Even when I wasn't really showing her much interest at the start, she was still asking friends about me and wondering what I was doing."

Alan indicated their connection became more meaningful once they ceased discussing reality television and concentrated on their actual lives. "When I had a bit of a conversation with her about not wanting to constantly talk about MAFS and all the reality TV stuff, that's when things started to change," he noted.

Keeping Romance Private and Future Plans

Despite their growing romance, the couple have largely maintained their relationship private while Gia's storyline continues to air. Alan admitted he chose not to watch most episodes. "I started watching the first episode she was in but after that I decided I didn't want to see it," he said. "I didn't want to watch her with another guy and have it play with my emotions because I'm pretty sensitive like that."

Instead, the pair focused on developing their relationship quietly behind closed doors. "We've had to be really respectful of her being on the show and not ruining the storyline," he explained. "Up until recently we've mostly just been spending time together at home and laying low."

The Melbourne date night captured in the photographs also signified a milestone for the couple. "Last night was the first time we've actually been out on a date together," Alan revealed. "Before that we were just hanging out privately and waiting until things on the show started to wrap up."

Serious Commitment and Marriage Breakdown

Now, he states their relationship has become extremely serious. "It's very serious now," he declared. "I've asked her to be my girlfriend and we're officially together. She's moving in and things are progressing in the right way. It's definitely not a showmance. It's a real relationship."

Gia also addressed the moment she realised her marriage to Scott could not be salvaged. "I knew my feelings for Scott were gone after the final dinner party when he treated me like a piece of shit," she stated. "I tried one last time and he proved again he was never really into me, just the airtime that I gave him."

She added that their relationship problems extended far deeper than viewers understood. "He didn't respect me when it came to speaking to other women and exes and having photos with exes," she claimed. "I rarely felt complimented or reassured and I never really felt secure. I felt used."
