Soap star Lisa Riley has sent shockwaves through the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! camp with a surprisingly candid admission about the show's famous hosts, Ant and Dec.
The 'Juicy' Confession
While waiting with fellow contestants to discover who would face the next Bush Tucker Trial, the conversation turned to the presenting duo. Riley did not hesitate to declare a clear favourite, leaving her campmates in stitches.
"Ant is way tastier. Oh god absolutely," she stated boldly. Elaborating on the differences between the two Geordie stars, she added, "Dec would look after you, Dec would tuck you in at night, whereas I think Ant would give you…a nice night."
Later, in the private Bush Telegraph, the 49-year-old actor expanded on her cheeky remarks, making it clear she was simply appreciating the view from afar.
"I'm a red-blooded 49-year-old woman and I do think Ant is very juicy," she explained. "You can go to Chanel, you don't have to buy anything, but you can look. I'm in a very, very happily settled relationship with my Al, but I can still have a look!"
Not the First Host Crush
Riley, who has been happily engaged to her 55-year-old partner Al for a decade, is far from the first campmate to develop a soft spot for the hosts.
The show's history is peppered with similar flirtations:
- Katie Price (then known as Jordan) famously made a play for Declan Donnelly during the wrap party after the 2004 series.
- In 2019, Nadine Coyle of Girls Aloud was flustered when Dec told her to "get on the bed" during a trial.
- Jacqueline Jossa admitted she hadn't realised they were "good looking" but also preferred Ant.
- Dec also shared a flirty dynamic with former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts during her time in the jungle.
Jungle Heroics and Toothbrush Rescue
Beyond her host admiration, Lisa Riley has also emerged as a camp hero. In the second episode of the series, she came to the rescue of model and presenter Kelly Brook in a moment of crisis.
While brushing her teeth near the dunny, a bug landed on Kelly's hand. Startled, she flicked it away, accidentally sending her toothbrush flying into the dense jungle undergrowth below.
Without a second thought, Riley ventured down into the restricted area to retrieve it, a move that impressed rapper and campmate Aitch.
In the Bush Telegraph, Aitch praised her daring, saying, "Lisa saved the day, she got right down there, I don't even think she's allowed down there to be honest. She's breaking the rules and everything, she's a badman."
