The star has also navigated profound personal tragedy. In 2022, Lauren's second daughter, Lorena, tragically passed away shortly after birth. The baby was born with her umbilical cord wrapped around her neck. Lauren had planned a natural water birth at her Essex home, but when her midwife could no longer detect a heartbeat during contractions, she was rushed to hospital. Despite a two-hour birth and desperate efforts from more than ten doctors, Lorena could not be saved.
In the wake of this immense loss, Lauren and Charles Drury have established a stable, platonic co-parenting relationship for their daughter Larose, focusing on family amidst their past romantic hardships.
