Kylie Jenner Struggles to Fix Bleached Brows After Met Gala
Kylie Jenner's Met Gala Brow Disaster

Kylie Jenner encountered a frustrating beauty mishap after bleaching her eyebrows for the Met Gala, struggling to restore them to their natural colour. The 28-year-old reality star, who attended the prestigious fashion event on Monday, sported a daring ensemble by Schiaparelli: a nude corset with nipple-baring details paired with a cream satin skirt. Her makeup featured nude lipstick, light pink blush, and almost invisible blonde eyebrows.

In an Instagram Story video posted after the gala, Jenner showed her makeup team attempting to dye her brows back to their usual shade. The process proved challenging, as one eyebrow turned brown while the other remained bleached. Laughing with her team, she exclaimed, "My brows are ruined! What is this? What the f*** is this?" Zooming in on the stark colour difference, she added, "This looks horrible."

Before the event, which marked Jenner's ninth Met Gala appearance, she shared a close-up of her makeup on Instagram Story with the caption, "I don't have any brows wish me luck." Her hairstylist, Iggy Rosales, explained to Vogue that the look was inspired by the Schiaparelli dress. "The dress feels like it's slipping away. It becomes this living sculpture," he said. He worked with makeup artist Ariel Tejada to ensure the makeup complemented the outfit. "We even tested no brows just to see how far we could push it," Rosales added.

The Met Gala, an annual fundraiser for the Costume Institute, featured the theme "Costume Art," inspired by the museum's spring exhibition exploring depictions of the dressed body. Guests were encouraged to celebrate the dressed body throughout art history. Many celebrities embraced the theme, including Beyoncé in a custom diamante skeleton-style bustier dress by Olivier Rousteing, complete with a feathered train and crystal headpiece. Kim Kardashian wore an armour-inspired burnt orange breastplate, while Madonna arrived in a witchy ensemble accompanied by seven "ladies-in-waiting," inspired by Leonora Carrington's 1945 painting.
