Kelly Osbourne's Heartbreaking Tribute to Ozzy on First Father's Day Since Death
Kelly Osbourne's Heartbreaking Tribute to Ozzy on Father's Day

Kelly Osbourne has shared a touching tribute to her father Ozzy Osbourne, marking the first Father's Day since the Black Sabbath frontman's death in July 2025. In an Instagram post on 21 June, she included photos of them together, their text exchanges, and images of her three-year-old son Sidney.

'I Will Never Stop Missing You'

In the caption, Kelly wrote: 'Dad, I still find myself looking for you in ordinary moments—the advice I need, the joke I want to tell, the victory I wish you could see. The ache of missing you is the price of loving you, and I would pay it forever rather than have never been your child at all! I will never stop missing you. It is an honour to spend the rest of my life loving you. Until we meet again!'

A screenshot of text messages between Ozzy and Kelly revealed the late rocker's affection for his grandson. He wrote: 'Ya know what whenever I'm feeling sick and miserable all I have to do is watch the video you sent of little Sid in the bath and it makes me so happy that it all just goes away.' He added that he missed them and wanted them to be happy.

Ozzy's Final Concert and Health Struggles

Ozzy also expressed his decision to retire from performing, telling Kelly: 'I have decided that my gigs are over.' He died just days after his final concert at Villa Park on 5 July 2025. Prior to the show, he told SiriusXM: 'By hook or by crook. I've got to make it there. I have got this trainer guy who helps people get back to normal. It's hard going, but he's convinced that he can pull it off for me. I'm giving it everything I've got.'

Ozzy had battled Parkinson's disease and a series of health issues for years. He died at his Buckinghamshire mansion, surrounded by family, including his daughters Aimee and Kelly.

Kelly's Ongoing Grief

Kelly has been open about her grief. Months earlier, she posted: 'Some grief doesn't end. It changes shape. It becomes the quiet weight you learn to carry, the ache woven into your days. Making it through doesn't mean leaving it behind. It means finding the strength to live and love and keep going even with forever resting in your heart.' She described surviving grief as 'enduring it' and 'standing in the wreckage of our own heart and whispering, "I am still here," even when every part of you feels shattered.'

The tribute post also included a video of Kelly and Sidney cuddling, wishing followers a happy morning.
