Katie Price Sends Public Message to Kerry Katona After Dubai Honeymoon 'Punch Row'
Katie Price has shared a public message to Kerry Katona for International Women's Day, labelling her "my best friend forever" in the wake of reports that her husband, Lee Andrews, punched Kerry's boyfriend Paolo Margaglione during a Dubai honeymoon incident.
Instagram Tribute on International Women's Day
Katie took to Instagram for International Women's Day and re-shared a post from a fan account which labelled both Katie and Kerry as 'inspiring'. The account captioned a series of photos of the pair: "Happy International Women's Day especially to these two incredible, strong and inspiring women who have been through absolute hell and back but still bounce back no matter what". Katie tagged pal Kerry and wrote: "My best friend forever".
This public display of friendship follows after the former Atomic Kitten star and partner Paolo joined Katie and new husband Lee Andrews in Dubai last month following their shock wedding. Katie surprised the world when she tied the knot with Lee in January, shortly after her split from Married At First Sight's JJ Slater.
Dubai Meeting Descends into Chaos
Katie and Kerry were seen posing for snaps with their partners before the meeting reportedly descended into chaos after Lee punched Paolo. Kerry was reportedly not present when the alleged drama took place, but it's thought the moment has left her close bond with Katie strained.
A source told The Sun: "Paolo then appeared and stepped in. Lee seemed to be very angry and was shouting at him. It all got very heated and Lee threw some punches and one of them landed Paolo square on the head."
Another source told the publication: "Katie and Kerry were great friends but this has really set the cat amongst the pigeons. Kerry didn't see any of this happen, Paolo told her about it and naturally she was upset."
Family Dynamics and Public Gestures
It comes after Lee shared that Katie's son Harvey had drawn a photo of him and Katie in the form of frogs, with one labelled 'Queen Mummy Bullfrog' and the other 'Daddy Lee Bullfrog', even though he has yet to meet the Dubai-based businessman in real life.
Lee wrote over the photo: "Harvey's beautiful picture for me and his mummy. Aww Daddy Lee x cute. If you love your wife you love there children."
This isn't the first time that Lee has publicly made a gesture to Katie and her children, as he has both Katie and Harvey's names tattooed on his body. The photos show the name Harvey is etched on the side of the businessman's hand alongside the outline of a frog, which is known as Harvey's favourite animal.
