Lee Andrews, the missing husband of Katie Price, sent explicit messages to women weeks before their wedding, a journalist has claimed. Daniel Bird, a reporter for the Mirror, said he spoke to Andrews multiple times before his alleged kidnapping in Dubai eight days ago.
Bird revealed that Andrews proposed to Price just hours after meeting her in person, and they married two days later. The journalist noted that Andrews had a pattern of engaging with social media users and then complaining about becoming a news story. 'How can somebody say they don't want to be the highlight of the news agenda, yet still frequently post on their social media, sharing glimpses of their life?' Bird wrote.
Andrews had previously been accused by an ex-partner, Crystal Janke, of scamming her out of $150,000. When Bird contacted him for comment, Andrews claimed the journalist was paying his ex for the story, which Bird denied. Andrews also demanded payment to share his side of the story, which Bird refused.
In voice notes sent to Bird, Andrews laughed off questions about his wedding ring and told a social media user to focus on their own relationship. He called Bird 'friend' multiple times, but Bird said they are not friends. Andrews later told Bird not to message him again, but then sent another voice note spinning the conversation back to his ex-girlfriend.
Bird also noted that Andrews lied about meeting Price's children and visiting the UK, and admitted his LinkedIn profile contained false information. Andrews had posted on Instagram that he was leaving Dubai for the UK to reunite with Price, but failed to appear on Good Morning Britain as planned.
