JJ Slater Alleges Katie Price Sent Drunk Texts to England Footballers
Former Married At First Sight star JJ Slater has made startling claims about his ex-girlfriend Katie Price's behaviour during their relationship, alleging she sent drunk text messages to two high-profile England footballers while they were on holiday together.
Late-Night Messages to Premier League Stars
Slater, 31, who split from the former glamour model earlier this year, told The Sun on Sunday about an incident during a holiday where he claims to have discovered Price, 47, messaging Manchester City players Jack Grealish and Kyle Walker in the early hours of the morning.
"I walked upstairs to find where she was and then, on the phone, she was messaging the footballers," Slater recounted. "It was Jack Grealish and Kyle Walker."
The reality television personality described how the incident unfolded after a night out at a karaoke bar, explaining that while he went to sleep, Price continued drinking with friends before allegedly sending the messages.
A 'Massive Red Flag' in the Relationship
Slater revealed that despite his immediate concerns about the inappropriate communication, he initially gave Price the benefit of the doubt due to the amount of alcohol consumed during the evening.
"But in the back of your mind, you're kind of thinking 'I wouldn't do that'," he admitted, describing the discovery as a "massive red flag" in their relationship.
According to Slater's account, neither of the Premier League footballers responded to the messages sent by Price during the early morning incident.
Claims Emerge Amid Price's New Marriage
These allegations surface as Price's new husband, businessman Lee Andrews, 41, continues to publicly display his affection for the mother-of-five. Andrews recently revealed another tattoo dedicated to Price, adding her name by his hip to join their existing matching hand tattoos featuring the date 11.11.
The timing of Slater's revelations coincides with what appears to be some uncertainty in Price and Andrews' newly-formed marriage. Initially planning to reunite in the UK this week, Andrews instead remained in Dubai while suggesting Price would return to the Middle Eastern city to see him.
Despite the swirling claims about her past behaviour, Price appeared to remain in the UK, sharing photographs of a dinner date with her son Harvey rather than travelling abroad as suggested by her new husband's social media posts.
Slater's detailed account of the alleged text messaging incident provides new insight into the dynamics of his relationship with Price, which ended shortly before her surprise marriage to Andrews earlier this year.
