In a revealing new interview, former Married At First Sight star JJ Slater has opened up about his recent split from Katie Price and her subsequent whirlwind marriage to Lee Andrews, making dramatic claims about her family's true feelings.
Family Were 'In The Dark' About New Romance
The 31-year-old reality star, who dated the 47-year-old former glamour model for two years before their separation was announced just weeks ago, claims Katie's family were as surprised as he was by her rapid new relationship.
"They wanted to let me know that they were in the dark as well," JJ told The Sun on Sunday, adding that family members had apologised to him regarding Katie's behaviour following the split.

JJ expressed serious doubts about the timeline of Katie and Lee's romance, suggesting they may have been seeing each other while he was still in a relationship with the mother-of-five.
"When you break up ten days ago and then they're engaged, there's a lot of things that go through your head," he explained. "I don't think there's many people that have been in that situation."
This directly contradicts Katie's previous claims that her connection with Lee was "marriage at first sight," with JJ pointing to Katie's extended stays in Dubai last summer as potential evidence of earlier involvement.
