Jeremy Clarkson's daughter, Emily Clarkson, has publicly shown her support for her father after he revealed he is in remission from an aggressive form of prostate cancer. The former Top Gear host, 66, confirmed the news in an interview with The Times, declaring himself 'the world's luckiest man' after a follow-up Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) test two months ago showed no indication of cancer.
Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment
In the season five finale of his Amazon Prime Video series, Clarkson's Farm, Jeremy disclosed that he was diagnosed in May 2025 and underwent treatment for a malignant tumour in his prostate in August of that year. At the end of the episode, he was seen in a hospital bed, telling viewers: 'If this is all successful, I'll see you for season six, and if it isn't, I won't. Take care, everyone.'
Remission and Urgent Message
Jeremy emphasized the aggressive nature of his cancer, stating: 'It was an aggressive type of cancer. It could have spread, it could have gone into the pancreas, it could have gone anywhere, and that would have been trouble.' He urged others to get tested, saying: 'This is why I have to say to everybody who's reading this, please, please, please go and get checked. It's not uncomfortable, it's not undignified. And it's a no-brainer. I did, and that's why I'm sitting here talking to you...'
Emily Clarkson's Public Support
Ahead of Father's Day, Emily Clarkson shared a sweet photo of herself with her father on social media, alongside a quote from his newspaper interview. She captioned the post by tagging Jeremy and the charity Prostate Cancer UK, prompting an outpouring of love and support from followers.
Future of Clarkson's Farm
Jeremy, who still requires regular blood tests and monitoring but remains positive about his recovery, has confirmed that season six of Clarkson's Farm is currently being filmed. In an Instagram video shared by Amazon Prime Video, he said: 'So, a bit of a year. But I am delighted to tell you that season 6 of Clarkson’s Farm is currently being filmed. It’s in production. And that’s particularly good news for me because, well if you know, you know, and if you don’t know, you need to watch season five.'
