Jason Orange, former member of Take That, has maintained a low profile since leaving the band in 2014. As the group revives their iconic Circus tour for 2026, fans are curious about his current whereabouts and activities.
Take That's Circus Tour Returns
Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, and Howard Donald have brought back the Circus UK tour this year. The original tour in 2009 featured all four members, including Jason Orange, performing hits with elaborate staging involving giant elephants, unicycles, and dancers. This weekend, the band heads to their hometown of Manchester for a show at the Etihad Stadium, which will be streamed live on Amazon Music and available for 24 hours afterward.
Jason Orange's Departure
Jason Orange quit Take That in September 2014, stating in a release that there were no hard feelings and that he no longer wished to continue. He expressed pride in his time with the band and gave his full support to the remaining members. Since then, he has largely stayed out of the public eye.
Life Off the Grid
According to Howard Donald, Jason has gone off the grid, not responding to emails or phone calls. In a 2018 appearance on Loose Women, Howard said Jason wants to be far removed from the spotlight. Jason did not participate in the 2024 Netflix documentary about the band, and he rarely appears in public, though he has been photographed occasionally in London.
Financial and Personal Status
Jason retired with an estimated fortune of £23 million. Despite his absence, Howard Donald shared a heartwarming moment in 2018 when he bumped into Jason and introduced his children to him for the first time, tweeting about the encounter.
